SALINA, Kan. – Sgt. Autumn Cash, 91E Advanced Leaders Course student from the Maine Army National Guard, works with a CNC lathe as part of the course curriculum at the Kansas Army National Guard’s Regional Training Site for Maintenance in Salina, Kansas, May 20. Cash is taking advantage of the Synchronous Training for Academic Credit program, a partnership between the KSARNG and Salina Area Technical College, which allows her to receive college credit for the work she does at the Army course. Passing all requirements will allow Cash to leave the six-week course only one class short of an Associates of Applied Sciences in Technical Studies from Salina Area Technical College.
