Firefighters of the 110th Wing Civil Engineering Squadron respond to a simulated car fire, during the 110th Wing’s base-wide readiness exercise, at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Battle Creek, Mich. on Jun. 04, 2021. During the exercise the 110th Security Forces Squadron responded to multiple incidents. The 110th Civil Engineering Squadron supported them by responding to the simulated vehicle fire scenario that occurred later in the exercise. The National Guard's readiness relies on well-considered planning, expertly trained personnel, and the willingness to respond to the nation’s needs at a moment’s notice.
