U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jehudi Rodriguez, a combat tracking dog handler with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), put on a bite suit in preparation for endurance bite suit training on the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), June 11, 2021. Endurance training is enforced to practice for potential engagement situations, and to train the military working dog to remain committed during the bite. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
