VMGR-234 supports Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) by providing aerial refueling, airdrop, and rescue capabilities to the area of responsibility. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be anywhere when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
