A target after a few firing orders during a Quick Reaction Drill range conducted by Regional Support Command Southwest, NATO Training Mission Afghanistan at Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Sept. 19, 2012. The range was conducted to make sure NTM-A personnel were trained and prepared to react to active shooter scenarios that could occur during their advisory mission to the Afghans. Service members went through dry fires before shooting rounds during their combat shoot drills at targets from varied distances. A stress shooting lane where service members had to run to walls and change magazines then acquire targets at different distances culminated the two-day range.
