    A man was rescued 400 miles south east of Long Island by the motor vessel Mare Picenum on Tuesday, June 16, 2021. The Coast Guard 1st District command center issued an enhanced group calling (EGC) message and established communications with multiple automated mutual-assistance vessels (AMVER) within the area in order to rescue the man.
