Marines from 1st Medical Battalion try on a cooled, electronic vest designed to be worn underneath a flak jacket, Sept. 19 during the Marine Corps Experimental Forward Operating Base, or ExFOB, Sept. 19. The vest can be worn under full gear to keep Marines cool during extreme weather conditions and heat and can last up to eight hours without being recharged.
