U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, assigned to the Special Purpose Marine Air – Ground Task Force – Crisis Response - Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC), participate in a grappling exercise as part of the final exercise of a Martial Arts Instructor Course (MAIC) in Jordan, June 14, 2021. The MAIC allows Marines to become Marine Corps Martial Arts Program Instructors in order to further enhance unit readiness and lethality.
