    CARIBBEAN SEA - (June 17, 2021) — The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Wichita (LCS 13) conducts a bilateral Photo Exercise (PHOTOEX) with Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Defender 380X-class all-weather interceptors D-7 and D-8 in the Caribbean Sea, June 17, 2021. Wichita conducted a brief stop for refueling and resupply in Antigua and Barbuda, marking the first visit from a U.S. Navy ship in over ten years. Wichita is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter illicit drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
