Canadian Public Affairs Officer, Lt Nora Amrane, provided Spokesperson Training for key staff on Exercise TRADEWINDS 2021 in Guyana on June 15 2021. In the context of a fictional scenario combining a theoretical presentation and a practice session, members from participating nations were provided with tools to understand and better prepare for successful media events and interviews. The Caribbean Task Force commander leveraged this training to hone his own skills and develop those of key headquarters personnel, to ensure gender neutrality in the force’s operations and communications as well as building capacity in gender mainstreaming.
