Medics with the 1077th Medical Company – Ground Ambulance, Kansas Army National Guard, worked in small teams to assess a mannequin “casualty” as part of the culminating training exercise for the Medic Sustainment 24-Hour course at the Medical Simulations Training Center at Fort Carson, Colorado, June 15. The MSTC provides a realistic training environment by using more mannequins and training aids and by simulating the conditions under which medics may work in combat situations.
