Staff Sgt. Andrea Gilchrist, Sgt. Marcus Gardner, Spcs. Nathan Sizemore and Pierce Warren, all assigned to the 647th Regional Support Group (Forward), Fort Bliss Mobilization Brigade, recently completed the Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS) at the Mission Simulation Training Center (MSTC) at Fort Bliss, Texas. The focus of the MSTC is an integrated approach to the Combat Lifesaver Program that blends basic medical lifesaving skills with Soldier skills. Soldiers must successfully pass a written exam and complete either an outdoor or indoor validation course which requires situational awareness and teamwork. Training is a top priority for the Army and its Soldiers and part of the RSG Commander’s “C.O.M.P.E.T.E.” philosophy, where the “T” stands for training. (U.S. Army photo by Capt. Brandon Fambro)
