Sgt. Robert Long, motor transport operator, Troop D, and Spc. Jacob Chege, healthcare specialist, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop both from 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, put together targets for the privately owned weapons range event held on Fort Carson’s Range 1, Sept. 22, 2012. Soldiers from 1st Sqdn., 10th Cav. Reg., volunteered as range safeties, put together targets and helped coach inexperienced shooters. The POW range, held every third Saturday of the month, January through October, allows participants to receive coaching from Soldiers and gives an opportunity to practice shooting their privately owned weapon.
