210625-N-XR893-0078 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 25, 2021) Aviation Machinist Mate 3rd Class Jesse Miller, from Cibolo, Texas, uses a flashlight to inspect hydraulic lines in a refueling store pod from an F/A-18E Super Hornet, attached to the “Fighting Checkmates” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during Group Sail. Group Sail provides an opportunity for the squadrons and ships of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8 to hone their skills and focus on teamwork and communication as they enter the integrated phase of pre-deployment training.
