    U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), refuel a UH-Y1 Venom Helicopter during a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) exercise in Okinawa, Japan, June 18, 2021. A FARP is used to enable expeditionary refueling and rearming in various locations to provide aircraft more time on station. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
