Staff Sgt. Jessica Reed, a Soldier assigned to Bravo Company, 415th Civil Affairs Battalion, currently attached to 1st Cavalry Division (Forward), receives a gift from Mr. Jacek Jaśkowiak, mayor of Poznań, Poland, at the conclusion of a civil engagement in Poznań June 23. Engagements like these provide an opportunity to integrate host nation advisors, civil affairs leadership and local government officials in support of Atlantic Resolve. The location of forward bases in Poland provides both flexibility and tactical control allowing Atlantic Resolve forces to move swiftly throughout the region, enhancing training opportunities and further assuring allies and partners of our unwavering commitment to the alliance.
