Brig. Gen. Ernest Litynski, center, Commanding General, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, receives a tour of the U.S. Army Special Operations display trailer from recruiters assigned to the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion-Milwaukee during the Fourth of July NASCAR Cup Series race at Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, July 4, 2021. Litynski attended the race as the Army’s senior leader and swore in 20 future Soldiers at the pre-race ceremonies. The U.S. Army recruiting battalion, along with the Appleton Recruiting Company brought recruiters and displays from across their area to meet with citizens, allow them to experience Army technology and evaluate opportunities in military service.
