Brig. Gen. Mark Dillion, Strategic Air Force International Affairs, director of regional affairs from the Pentagon, Washington D.C., speaks to Edric Van Rensburg and Danielle Badenhorst, both national essay winners from Port Natal High School in Durban, after presenting them with coins at the 2012 Africa Aerospace and Defense Exposition here, Sept. 21. Both students wrote essays on why they should be able to attend the exposition and were selected to attend this year's event. The children participated in the Youth Development program which partners U.S. and South African military personnel with youth to develop techniques to empower them both socially and economically.
