U.S. Army Indiana National Guard 1st LT. Mark O’Neill, Observer, Coach, Trainer, with Army National Guard Operations Group Wolf oversees a movement to contact lane June 11, 2021 during eXportable Combat Training Capability 21-01 at Fort Hunter Liggett, California. ARNG-OGW augmented OCTs to 189th Combined Arms Training Brigade, First Army West during their partnership training with 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. O’Neill has been an OCT for ARNG-OGW for over 6 years and has participated in nine XCTCs and several National Training Center and Joint Rotational Training Center rotations. OCTs are highly trained subject matter experts who guide rotational units such as the 79th IBCT though various combat training scenarios to improve their overall combat readiness and effectiveness.
