Polish Land Forces, 15th Mechanized Brigade Commander, Brig. Gen. Bogdan Rycerski, congratulates the Battle Group Poland 4 X 400 meter relay race team for winning second place at Stadion Miejski MOSIR in Giżycko, Poland July 13, 2021. Battle Group Poland had 40 competitors representing the U.S. Army, British Army and Romanian Land Forces compete in the track and field event, which included 100 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter and 4 X 400 meter races as well as, javelin throw, shot put, and long jump competitions. The inaugral multinational track and field event was held to celebrate Polish Land Forces 15th Mechanized Brigade's 27th anniversary. 15th Mechanized Brigade has a long-standing multinational partnership with Battle Group Poland, continuing NATO's commitment to the alliance.
