Q: What is your name, hometown, unit and MOS?
A: My name is Spc. Jared Kennedy, and I am from Middleport, Ohio. I am an air defense battle management system operator (MOS-14G) with the Ohio National Guard, 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.
Q: Why did you enlist in the U.S. Army?
A: I enlisted in 2017 because I wanted to go to college, and also build my character while gaining all these experiences.
Q: Is this your first time in Guam? Talk about your duties while you are here.
A: I’ll be working with operations while here in Guam. I haven’t been to Guam before, but it is definitely hot and humid compared to Ohio.
