210707-N-JW440-1204 ARABIAN SEA (July 7, 2021) Guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) departs from Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE 14) after a replenishment-at-sea in the Arabian Sea. Shiloh is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
