Conor Pitkin, a combat medic specialist with the 329th Medical Company (Ground Ambulance), Fairview, Pa., concludes his combat casualty assessment by loading his casualty into the M997 Field Litter Ambulance with the help form other members from his unit during their extended combat training at Fort McCoy, Wis., July 13, 2021. Combat casualty assessments are routinely performed by medical unit to keep their Soldiers knowledgeable on how to deal with any medical trauma they may encounter during training or on a deployment.
