    SAN DIEGO (July 20, 2021) Firefighter Paramedic Jacquie De Anda, assigned to Federal Fire San Diego, teaches Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego how to use a Med Sled in one of the hospital’s wards July 20. The Med Sled is a tool used to transport patients down ladderwells during emergency evacuations. NMRTC San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
