The Idaho National Guard dedicates its newest barracks in honor of Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Army 1st Lt. Vernon Joseph Baker at Gowen Field, Tuesday. Baker's wife Heidy and Maj. Gen Michael Garshak, adjutant general of Idaho, unveil a statue of an elk outside the building that symbolizes Baker's love for hunting in Idaho.
