Airman Jeremy Erving, Airman 1st Class Robert Loftin and Staff Sgt. Ellis Bowles, 628th Security Forces Squadron, stack up to clear a room during the active shooter scenario Sept. 26, 2012, at Joint Base Charleston-Weapons Station. Airmen practiced combative moves before entering a house under control of hostile forces and eliminate the threat while identifying and controlling non-hostile inhabitants. Security forces airmen put their skills and knowledge to the test in simulated hostile environments to prepare for real-world events.
