The crew of U.S. Army Vessel Lt. General William B. Bunker (LSV-4), 8th Theater Sustainment Command, loaded equipment and supplies on LSV-4 in Guam July 19th for theater distribution operations in support of Defender Pacific 2021. Enabling the Theater Army's operational reach by providing the necessary logistics support required to retain freedom of action.
Defender Pacific 21 is a USARPAC exercise that operationalizes the National Defense Strategy by practicing the strategic deployment, command and control, and employment of combat-credible forces into the region, and supports Indo-Pacific Command's Joint warfighting concepts.
