Jeff Van, Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS) commanding general, speaks to a 54th Quartermaster Company Solider about the decontamination line during a field mortuary decontamination demonstration. There are various steps in the process of decontaminating of fallen service members so their remains can be safely returned to their family members. JTF-CS works closely with the Joint Mortuary Affairs Center to provide best practices in honoring fallen service members.
