Senior Airman Zachary Matuscin, 305th Operations Support Squadron weather forecaster, receives data from the Tactical Meter Logical Observing System at building 1608 here Aug. 30. Matuscin hails from Oswego, Ill. TMLOS is used as a remote observing site during severe weather to provide back up capability for land outages here and also in deployed environments. The system can transmit weather data via telephone, satellite, radio and land networks.
