SAN DIEGO (July 23, 2021) A photo of a katana at a retirement ceremony aboard the USS Midway museum ship July 23. The retirement ceremony was held for Capt. Philip King, Naval Medical Force Pacific's region chaplain, who served the Navy for 41 years. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
