    Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency

    The 3rd Infantry Regiments, also known as the Old Guard, escorts the remains of Army Major Harvey Storms who was buried in Arlington National Cemetery on July 16, 2021. Major Storms was reported missing in action on Dec. 1, 1950, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces near the Chosin Reservoir, North Korea. Following the battle, his remains could not be recovered. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency was able to identify the remains in 2019. (Defense Photo by Ashley M. Wright)
