A U.S. MC-130J Air Commando II refuels an Australian C-130J Hercules at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, Northern Territory, Australia as part of a bilateral Forward Area Refueling Point training scenario during Talisman Sabre 21, July 22, 2021. This was the first time an Australian aircraft was refueled by a U.S. aircraft via a FARP. TS21 is Australia’s largest military exercise with the U.S. and is a demonstration of the strong alliance underpinned by deep levels of cooperation and trust built over decades of operating and training together.
