MISAWA, Japan (July 29, 2021) – Sailors, assigned to Navy Munitions Command East Asia Division (NMC EAD) Unit Misawa, help assemble an inert MK 65 Quickstrike training mine as part of routine training used to increase operational readiness. NMCPAC EAD maintains underwater mines, torpedoes, and provides ordnance sentencing, inspection and handling in support of aviation ordnance operations.
