Families and friends of Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2 Marines wait in the unit's hangar on the air station for more than 100 Marines with the squadron to return home Oct. 2. The Marines deployed to Afghanistan for six months and operated mainly from Bagram Airfield, providing electronic protection for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force. While deployed, the squadron completed about 450 sorties employing EA-6B Prowlers.
