Cpl. Christopher Soper from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 166, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, gazes upon the scene of Bawfal, Bangladesh, from a CH-46E Sea Knight en route to deliver food to the Bangladeshi people. The USS Tarawa and the embarked 11th MEU are conducting humanitarian assistance/disaster relief efforts in response to the government of Bangladesh's request for assistance after tropical cyclone Sidr struck their southern coast, Nov. 15. The storm killed over 3,000 people and has left several hundred thousand homeless.
