Marines with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 48 (MWCS-48), Marine Aircraft Control Group 48, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, set up communication equipment aboard Coast Guard Cutter Haddock during Coast Guard Integrated Amphibious Exercise 21 at Coast Guard Sector San Diego, on July 25, 2021. MWCS-48 enabled ship to shore communications with the Coast Guard in support of a notional amphibious operation. The exercise was in support of the Tri-Service maritime strategy, entitled Advantage at Sea, which embraces new ways of operating within the concepts of integrated U.S. naval power to deter future adversaries and generate better strategic choices.
