U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Anthony Henderson, deputy commanding general of II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), visited 2nd Radio Battalion at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 28, 2021, in order to see the new operations center and how it will support II MEF’s warfighting capabilities. The building will supply Marines with real time intelligence support. It will also provide staging and training areas for the tactical signal intelligence, as well as electronic warfare teams that support various Marine Air Ground Task Forces. This new facility will allow three different companies within the battalion to consolidate, increasing the efficiency of training and operations. The battalion plans to have the building fully operational by November 2021. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Kyle Jia)
