Australian Army Lance Corporal Codey Merlino and Military Police Dog Apache demonstrate the capabilities of a military police dog to the visiting international observers July 20, 2021 in Queensland, Australia, during exercise Talisman Sabre 2021. 16 international observers, from seven countries, came to discuss concepts, practices and capabilities used during TS21 to take back to their countries and consider future participation in TS21. TS21 supports the U.S. National Defense Strategy by enhancing our ability to protect the homeland and provide combat-credible forces to address the full range of potential security concerns in the Indo-Pacific.
