Brigadier Gen. Terry Ferrell, commanding general of the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, addresses the audience during the 23rd Annual Community Military Mixer at the Sandy Basin Community Center, Sept. 26. The military mixer provided new residents and employees the chance to socialize, network and relax in a friendly environment, while familiar faces strengthened their ties among service members and the High Desert community at large.
