Lt. Gen. Bill Burleson (left), Eighth Army commanding general, places the unit patch on Brig. Gen. Tom O'Connor's sleeve, welcoming him to the Eighth Army team during a patch ceremony held at Eighth Army headquarters on USAG Humphreys, South Korea, Aug. 6. O'Connor serves as the deputy commanding general-operations. He and Brig. Gen. Joseph D'costa, Eighth Army deputy commanding general-sustainment, received their patches in front of Eighth Army staff during the ceremony.
