Lt. Col Joshua Nelson, executive officer of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, turns off the UC-12W (C-12) engines for passenger pick up during a passenger mission at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan, on July 19, 2021. Due to the geographic scope of the Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility and the on-going global pandemic, Headquarter & Headquarters Squadron, MCAS Iwakuni relies on UC-12W for time-sensitive logistical support multiple countries in the Western Pacific theater.
