U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Derek Jones, a grenadier with 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, fires at targets on Range 130 Kilo during the division rifle squad competition on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Califorina, Aug. 3, 2021. The competition was designed to test the Marines’ skills and determine the best squad within 4th MarDiv as well as raise the standard of tactical excellence throughout the division.
