210802-N-TP544-1111 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 2, 2021) Seaman Clayton Roy directs a landing craft, air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit 4 out of the well deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) August 2, 2021. Kearsarge is underway to support Large-Scale Exercise 2021 (LSE 2021), a globally integrated exercise designed to test advanced warfare concepts across the full-range of maritime and amphibious operations under Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO).
