210811-N-VI040-1069 ATSUGI, Japan (Aug. 11, 2021) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuels) 3rd Class Ryan Noe, from Richmond, Va., uses forceps to handle a water detecting pad used to test a fuel sample utilizing a Combined Contaminated Fuels Detector (CCFD) in the fuel quality surveillance lab onboard Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan. NAF Atsugi supports the combat readiness of Commander, Fleet Air Western Pacific (CFWP), Commander, Task Force Seven Two (CTF-72), Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron FIVE ONE (HSM-51) and 30 other tenant commands and provides logistic support, coordination and services to units assigned to the Western Pacific.
