ARABIAN SEA (Aug. 10, 2021) – Seaman Caleb Alba communicates between ships during a replenishment-at-sea aboard guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) with USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE-8) in the Arabian Sea, Aug. 10. Halsey is attached to Commander, Task Force 55, deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
