210810-N-RP125-1003 DILI, Timor-Leste (August 10, 2021) Steelworker 3rd Class Shareine May, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, bends rebar for the construction of a four-room schoolhouse in Baucau, Timor-Leste. The U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are building the schoolhouse in support of the local Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening our network of allies and partners, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
