YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug.16, 2021) – Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Capt. Carolyn Rice, U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka's commanding officer, and Julie Herring, Navy Exchange Yokosuka's general manager, cut a gold ribbon signifying the opening of the hospital's new Navy Exchange micro mart during a ceremony onboard CFAY. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
