An A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot works with the Electrical and Environmental Systems Flight during maintenance training Aug. 9, 2021, on Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The training developed the maintainers’ skills, provided pilots with insight into obstacles the maintainers face, and helped create a proficient maintenance workforce to continue to deliver close-combat air support.
