Spc. Jose Maceda, a motor transport operator with the 459th Transportation Company, based out of Elwood, Illinois, directs the driver of a Palletized Loading System (PLS) to lift cargo prior to a convoy training during Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 12, 2021. The PLS is a truck-based logistics system that performs long and short distance freight transport, unit resupply and other missions in the tactical environment to support modernized and highly mobile combat units. CSTX enables Army Reserve units to achieve, improve and sustain pre-mobilization collective readiness.
