NUUK, Greenland -- (Aug. 17, 2021) Danish Rear Adm. Martin LaCour Andersen, the commanding officer of the Joint Arctic Command located in Nuuk, Greenland, presents a gift to Cmdr. Benjamin Spector commanding officer of USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907), in Nuuk during Operation Nanook. The U.S. Coast Guard is again participating in Operation Nanook, a sovereignty and maneuver exercise conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces in the Arctic.
